Alien Worlds

On the planet Mu Keuruu, fierce fire tentacles perform their strange mating rituals. God knows if these vile creatures are sentient or not.
"Ready your lasers, cadets! Where tentacles sway, hentai fans are not far away!", I always say.

Inside the cavern of glowstones , we discovered this half a meter tall, boil covered egg.
After short discussion with ensign Gibson and master chief petty officer Pitkämäki-Uusisuo, it was decided that since we were going to stay another two standard days on this moon, we would not want to deal with a hostile xenomorph that might hatch out of this egg. We agreed that best method for threat removal was to cook the alien egg using landingships retro rockets (rockets that are so old that they are hip) and have petty officer Miyamoto eat the fried lifeform.
Eventually it took one week and two spoons for petty officer Miyamoto to finish eating the egg but at the end threat was neutralized.
Our biggest problem has become ships clogged toilets and this forces us to make visit on planet Upsilon Sundom. Petty officer Miyamoto firmly claims that plumbing problems and him running out of toilet tickets have nothing to do with one another.

On our way to Upsilon Sundom, chief botanist Svensson informed me that our starship's Yggdrasil tree Athena had wheeler worms.
This was great concern since Athena provides (among many things) artificial gravity and space folding capabilities for Kalevala 8.
Removal of wheeler worms was not an easy task since these parasites have a defence ability to create wormholes that rip the fabric of time and space. Any mistake in the deworming process could lead to disaster.
To remove the worms Svensson used a special tool which generated safe containment fields that prevented the worms from creating strong gravity fields.Removed worms when then fried and salted before they were served at commissioned officers dinner. One wheeler worm was kept alive in a safe containment since master chief petty officer Pitkämäki-Uusisuo believes that it could be used in a emergency situation to unclog the starship's toilet pipes.
"Wheeler worm can create massive wormholes and massive culinary delights." -Chief botanist Svensson
"My neo-dog had worms but they were not quite as delicious as these.", Ensign Munavuori commented at the dinner.
